Deborah is from Drimnagh and was educated in Assumption Secondary School, Walkinstown. She qualified in Medicine in 2006 from Trinity College, Dublin and completed her internship in St. James’s Hospital. She subsequently completed SHO posts in Internal Medicine in St. James’s Hospital, Accident and Emergency Medicine in the Midwestern Regional Hospital Limerick and Paediatric Medicine in Our Ladys’s Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin.
She joined the Trinity College Dublin/ HSE Specialist Training Programme in General Practice in 2009. Over the course of this scheme she has completed posts in Medicine for the Elderly, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine and Respiratory Medicine in a number of different hospitals. She has also worked in the Emergency Department at Temple St. Children’s Hospital and has gained experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Rotunda Hospital.
She is currently in the third year of the training scheme and began working as a GP Registrar at the Johnstown Medical Centre in July 2011.
Deborah enjoys all sport including tennis, swimming and skiing.
